On to the ride. A 21.5 mile jaunt along the Hermosa River. Damp wet morning. The trail started off as a mixed use for ATV, hoof, and two wheeled knobby tires. Soon into the ride a lone flyfisherman warned us of a horse convey 60 large just up ahead. We quickly caught up to them and trucked on through. The canyon winding double track gave us a few bridge passings then slowly turned into a fast rolling singletrack. A few short climbs at the end gave us some huffing and puffing to keep it from being too easy.
After a few days we now have an intimate understanding of our Town & Country and all its faults and have gained some insight as to why our tax dollars are paying for the fledgling company to stay afloat...its a piece of poo. We suspect that this model has only one warped brake disc pad on say, the front driver's side. We feel this way because there is a shaking violence during braking that rivals only that of space re-entry in a 1960's Apollo capsule!
Headed into downtown Durango for food, beer and football at a local establishment.
